Working Principle of Single Stage Compressor

Working Principle –

A single-stage reciprocating air compressor works by using a piston to compress air within a cylinder during a single stroke. As the piston moves downwards, it creates a vacuum, allowing air to enter the cylinder through an inlet valve. When the piston moves upwards, the inlet valve closes, and the compressed air is expelled through an outlet valve. Finally, the cycle repeats to supply compressed air.
